Just submitted my first college application!!! Deep breath. Felt happy for a couple minutes, tomorrow it is back to the normal grind: researching schools, getting some real sleep, and dreaming of acceptance letters. I also have a severe case of the hiccups, someone please fix me! I wonder if college teaches you that, it would actually come in handy when I have to give a presentation like I do in 5 minutes. I wonder if college teaches you how to deal with public humiliation. At the very least if should teach me how not to match a striped sweater with a checkered scarf. link loveFed Up with Food Fear-Mongering : TRUTH. I want to shout this from the rooftops. I might be hypocritical but everything in this post is so true, people abide by their diets like it's religion and it's COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY and even harmful. They even add BHT to help the cookies retain flavor. ***In all honesty though, they are kind of my guilty pleasure along with cosmic brownies and iced circus animal crackers. "When you bite into the colorful sprinkles, you'll know you've made it to the big top! " When I go back to the US I am definitely having some, I've been eating too much broccoli as it is anyhow. Got to offset all that fibrous cancer-prevention magic!*** BEST HAIR. Rumi will forever be my favorite fashion blogger. I love her style, her writing, her hair, her perfect eyeliner, and her face. She's such a freaking babe. Volume! Ombre! Waves! Effortlessly better than you. She inspires me to care about my hair, thanks Rumi. Maybe someday I'll actually do something about it. (This is a cry for help.) "The process I’ve been using is soaking the conditioner into the ends, blow drying it halfway dry and putting it into two infantile buns for an awkward 15 minutes, smushing the creme into ends to separate them a bit, and then using the dryspun finish lightly throughout for instant mane-ness.
