Results of my detox:
I DID NOT do this detox to lose weight, rather to feel better about myself. You may think I
looked better in the before, and you are entitled to your opinion! But the outside doesn't quite
tell the whole story.
I was eating out a ton, skipping workouts, and dehydrated. I feel so much better now. Believe
it or not there is only a 3 pound difference between the two photos; I am genetically rather
petite and naturally have a very "flat" body type, especially if you look at me from the side.
My BMI is 19.6, which is in the healthy range. My mom is actually the same size as me!
Losing weight is not the point of the "detox"! The point is to look, and feel as best as you can.
You are eating to
1) nourish and heal your body
2) reset your taste buds
3) be a healthier you.
That should be (and remain)your main goal throughout this detox.

I mostly stuck to meals from phases 2&3 for ONE MONTH, eating 3 meals a day and no
snacks. Drank at least 2 liters of water everyday and got 8 hours of sleep every night.
I've always been a "clean" eater, but even so, tightening up my diet really made a difference!
I feel lighter and most noticeably, have no desire to snack AT ALL. The meals are filling, and
when I get hungry it's for real food, not a snack. This is HUGE for me because I am the
biggest snacker ever! Food is no longer something I reach for when I'm bored or sad,
rather I recognize it as a source of fuel for my body.
My skin is glowing, I am not bloated even after meals, and most importantly I feel energized
(no afternoon slump!), motivated and clear headed!
You do not have do the entire program the whole way through like it's written; depending on
your current eating habits you can start and stop/repeat whatever phases you like! Be sure to
read all the tips I offer so you can complete the most successful detox possible.

For exercise I just went for a walk everyday and did some light bodyweight exercises, always
less than 20 minutes. It's all in the diet!
