{MEALS} : Are flexible and super easy to make / substitute. You can use the meal options I suggest or make your own using the guideline at the bottom of each phase's meal plan page. This is not a strict meal plan where every single meal is written in stone! Instead it's a realistic guide that is the basis of your detox. Most of the recipes are single serving, however I want you to learn how to eat intuitively. Eat until you feel satisfied and comfortable but not stuffed, about 7-8 on a hunger scale of 1 to 10. Don't get caught up in the measurements! Be smart. If you are a larger man naturally you need to scale portion sizes accordingly. You are eating to nourish and heal your body, and that should be your main goal throughout this detox.
This detox is suitable for vegetarians, beginning from Phase 2.
{JUICING} : If you choose to do the juice cleanse (in book 1) but are not ready to fully commit this is what you can do. Drink the first four juices, then eat a normal, clean dinner. Perhaps a nice piece of protein like fish, chicken, or tofu (baked or grilled), some raw or lightly steamed greens, and a scoop of grains (brown rice, quinoa, etc.). Don't use many flavorings like spices, salts, oils or sauces. Keep it simple.
{EXERCISE} : If you are working out while detoxing I recommend add an extra snack or doing lighter workouts.
