First time capturing a photo of every meal! It was such delicious day of food that I felt it would be a same not to share it! Unpictured are some obligatory pumpkin seeds, peanuts, and pomelo. Aka my necessities. Breakfast: Banana walnut yogurt parfait! This was my first tike trying this kind of yogurt, it's 天友 brand and made from organic whole raw milk, cane sugar, and bacteria strains. So so thick and creamy. Amazing. And the packaging is super cute, it comes in a tiny glass bottle in a paper package. Only downside is they are kind of pricy, ¥6 each. BUT I just received my paycheck so I'll be sure to treat myself! Lunch: A colorful veggie bowl filled with carrots, chestnuts, cabbage, the best lotus root, and sauteed mushrooms all topped with walnuts and a sprinkle of goji berries. No editing needed! Nature's goodness (and my dad's amazing cooking skills) always shines through. Dinner after work was a mix of black and red rice, pumpkin, zucchini, cauliflower, and pecans. Was so comforting after the chilly walk home; it's been raining all week. Probably due to typhoon Haiyan...my heart goes out to those affected! I can't imagine going through a disaster like that, losing your home and loved ones... The stories reported are devastating. I want to help in some way, so I'm hosting a challenge on my instagram. For every comment (here or on my instagram ) I'll donate $1 to the Red Cross, all proceeds from the paycheck I received earlier today from work. It's time I stopped feeling sorry and started acting. If you want to help you can text TYPHOON to 80888 ($10 donation to the salvation army, 100% of donations go toward disaster relief.Or please visit this list from usatoday. How you can help. The money was gonna be used for clothes or food anyway, why not give it to people who actually need them. Together we can make a difference to help people rebuild their lives.
